Workshop Services
Every repair begins with a workshop assessment. We recommend only the work appropriate to the watch, its movement, condition and intended use.
Movement disassembly, cleaning, inspection, lubrication, reassembly, regulation and final testing.
Careful servicing of suitable manually wound Panerai calibres, including assessment of winding and power reserve.
Assessment and servicing of suitable automatic winding systems and related components where required.
Precision testing and adjustment using professional workshop timing equipment.
Crown, seals and case are assessed with water-resistance testing carried out where appropriate for the model.
Assessment of the winding crown, seals and distinctive crown-protection system where fitted.
Careful refinishing with respect for original case geometry, polished surfaces and brushed finishes.
Sensitive servicing and restoration with originality and period character retained wherever possible.
Built Around a Distinctive Case
Panerai watches are recognised for substantial cases, highly legible dials and distinctive crown systems. Many models are also closely associated with diving, making the condition of the crown, seals and case particularly important.
We inspect the movement, winding and setting system, crown and crown-protection mechanism where fitted, crystal, seals, case and strap fittings before preparing an estimate. Cosmetic restoration is discussed separately so original character can be retained where desired.
