The Story of This Timepiece
Created exclusively for Harrods, the Tudor Black Bay Harrods Edition Ref. 79230G has become one of the most recognisable special editions in the modern Black Bay family.
Its defining feature is the distinctive Harrods green bezel, paired with a black dial, warm gilt detailing and Tudor's signature Snowflake hands. Subtle green accents continue across the dial, giving the watch a character of its own while retaining the vintage-inspired styling for which the Black Bay collection has become known.
The 41mm stainless-steel case is fitted with a domed sapphire crystal and unidirectional rotating bezel, while water resistance to 200 metres preserves the practical diving-watch heritage of the Black Bay.
At its heart is Tudor's manufacture Calibre MT5602, an automatic COSC-certified chronometer movement offering approximately 70 hours of power reserve. The watch is completed by a rivet-style stainless-steel bracelet and a specially decorated caseback carrying the Harrods emblem and individual edition number.
The result is unmistakably Tudor, but with a distinctly British connection — bringing together the Black Bay's utilitarian diving-watch character with the famous Harrods green.

Why This Watch Matters
The Tudor Black Bay Harrods Edition is more than a change of bezel colour. Its individually numbered production, Harrods caseback and unmistakable green detailing give the Ref. 79230G an identity separate from the standard Black Bay collection.
Its connection to one of London's most recognisable institutions makes it particularly fitting for the Marcus Tempus Watch Archive — preserving an interesting chapter of modern British and Swiss watch retail history.
