Product Story
Created to prove just how resilient a Swiss watch could be, the Victorinox I.N.O.X. 241682.1 became one of the defining performance watches in the modern Victorinox collection.
Its substantial 43mm case is crafted from high-grade 316L stainless steel, paired with a matt black dial and highly resilient black rubber strap. The design is purposeful and remarkably clean, allowing the bold hands, hour markers and Victorinox shield to remain immediately legible.
But the real story of the original I.N.O.X. lies beneath its understated appearance. Victorinox subjected the watch to an extraordinary 130 extreme endurance homologation tests. It was engineered to withstand challenges including a 10-metre drop, the weight of a 64-ton tank, immersion to 200 metres and even two hours inside a washing machine at 90°C.
Reference 241682.1 also includes one of the more unusual Victorinox accessories: a removable compass bumper. Designed to protect the watch against scratches, it adds another layer of outdoor functionality while reinforcing the I.N.O.X.'s original adventure-focused character.
Powered by a dependable Swiss quartz movement, the watch also features a date display, luminous hands, screw-in caseback and an impressive 200 metres / 20 ATM water resistance.
Now an earlier-generation I.N.O.X. reference, 241682.1 offers the opportunity to own one of the original 43mm models that established the collection's reputation for extraordinary durability.

Victorinox began in 1884 when Karl Elsener I opened his cutler's workshop in Ibach-Schwyz, Switzerland. The company would go on to create the Original Swiss Army Knife™, establishing a design language built around usefulness, precision and preparedness.
