Product Story

A piece of space history, reimagined for today.

The Bulova Lunar Pilot 98K112 takes its inspiration from the Bulova chronograph worn on the Moon during the Apollo 15 mission in 1971, bringing one of the brand’s most remarkable chapters back to the wrist in a modern high-performance chronograph.

Its 43.5mm stainless-steel case frames a beautifully contrasting silver-white panda dial, surrounded by a deep blue tachymeter scale and matched with three recessed blue chronograph registers. Slim blue pushers add another subtle flash of colour, while luminous hands and applied hour markers keep the dial highly legible beneath an anti-reflective sapphire crystal.

At its heart is Bulova’s NP20 High Precision Quartz movement, operating at an impressive 262 kHz. The result is considerably more sophisticated than an ordinary quartz chronograph, with high precision timing and the distinctive smooth movement associated with Bulova’s high-frequency technology.

Finished on a substantial three-link stainless-steel bracelet, the 98K112 manages to feel both technical and wonderfully retro. It is unmistakably a chronograph, unmistakably Bulova, and one of those watches whose story is every bit as interesting as its dial.

Different Sides of Bulova

Classic, Sport & Modern Design

Bulova does not sit in one narrow style lane. The range includes refined dress watches, practical everyday bracelets, bold chronographs and more contemporary sport-led designs.

That breadth makes the brand a useful addition to the Marcus Tempus watch offering, especially for customers who want something established, wearable and thoughtfully priced.

Choosing Your Watch

Specifications Vary by Model

Bulova collections include different case sizes, movement types, dial layouts, strap materials, crystals and water-resistance ratings.

Some watches are simple three-hand quartz models, while others are automatic watches, open-heart designs or chronographs. For that reason, we list the exact details for each Marcus Tempus product individually.

Care & Water Resistance

Keeping Your Bulova in Good Condition

Water resistance is model-specific and should always be checked on the individual watch. Crowns and pushers should be handled carefully, and watches exposed to water should have gaskets and seals inspected periodically. Quartz watches will also require battery replacement over time, while automatic models benefit from regular servicing.
