A tribute to one of aviation's most distinctive aircraft, the Luminox F-117 Nighthawk™ x Skunk Works® Heritage Pilot Watch celebrates the connection between Luminox and the pilots of the legendary F-117 stealth fighter.
The collaboration has roots stretching back almost 25 years, when F-117 pilots approached Luminox. This heritage edition combines that aviation story with the unmistakable identity of Lockheed Martin's Skunk Works®, whose innovations helped create the extraordinary stealth aircraft.
The black dial has a clever detail that's easy to miss: the Skunk Works® logo at 6 o'clock remains deliberately subdued during the day, then illuminates with Super-LumiNova® in darkness after exposure to light. Skunk Works® and Lockheed Martin branding is also engraved on the case back.
Its 44mm CARBONOX™ case keeps the watch lightweight at just 70g, while sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating, 200 metres of water resistance and a black Kevlar strap give it the durability expected from Luminox. The unusual bidirectional bezel uses reversed numerals, allowing the watch to be used to read a second time zone.
Luminox Light Technology provides constant self-powered illumination for up to 25 years, complementing the separate Super-LumiNova® Skunk Works detail and giving this heritage pilot watch genuine low-light functionality.

Luminox Light Technology uses tiny borosilicate glass capsules containing micro gas lights on the hands, hour markers and, on selected models, the bezel.
Unlike conventional luminous paint that must first absorb light, LLT is self-powered and designed to provide continuous visibility for up to 25 years.

The Navy SEAL Connection
In 1992, Navy SEAL research and development officer Chief Nick North worked with Luminox to develop a watch suited to the demanding needs of the SEALs.
That collaboration helped establish the Original Navy SEAL 3000 Series and became one of the most recognisable parts of the Luminox story.

Care & Water Resistance
Keeping a Luminox Ready for Use
Water resistance is not permanent. Luminox recommends that gaskets are inspected and replaced every 18–24 months, or more frequently when a watch is regularly exposed to chlorinated pools or salt water. The exact water-resistance rating should always be checked on the individual model.
